As a consequence of the adverse weather conditions at Munich airport, the restriction on air traffic has been applied, and ground handling services are currently under limitation. Thus, it is unavoidable to revise the new departure time of flight TG925 scheduled to depart from Munich to Bangkok on December 3 to depart at 12:35 PM on December 5, and the arrival time in Bangkok will be 05:10 AM on December 6.

Please note that your new flight number is TG925D/05DEC, and check-in counters will be opened at 09:45 AM on December 5.

We are pleased to annouce that Thai Airways will launch direct flights between Bangkok and iGA Istanbul Airport on December 1, 2023.

The airline's flights between Bangkok and Istanbul are scheduled to be operated on A350-900 aircraft with a capacity of 321 seats.

Flight TG900 will depart from Bangkok daily at 11:45 PM, landing in Istanbul at 6:05 AM the following day.

Flight TG901 will depart from Istanbul on the same day at 4:30 PM, landing in Bangkok at 5:35 AM.

From now on, passengers can easily book flights from Europe to Asia Pacific, North Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia through its hub in Bangkok, thanks to these iGA Istanbul Airport flights.

Referring to the announcement made by The State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) of the Kingdom of Cambodia regarding the relocation of Siem Reap International Airport (REP) to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI), starting from October 16, 2023, onwards, we would like to provide the details as follows:

1. The new international airport has been officially named "Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (where is located in approx. 52 km from Siem Reap town) " by the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) and is scheduled to open for operations from 16 October 2023 onwards.

2. The Siem Reap Angkor International Airport has received the official code from the International Air Transport Association (IATA Code) as SAI and from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO Code) as VDSA.

3. All commercial flights of air passengers and cargo that are being operated at the current Siem Reap International Airport (REP) will be transferred entirely and one time only to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport from 00:00 AM (Cambodian Time) on 16 October 2023.

We would like to announce that Self Check-in kiosks provide automated check-in service for more ease and convenience with no need to queue at check-in counters when flying with THAI Smile Airways on domestic routes, departing from Bangkok on international travel and at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi international airport and Phuket international airport only.

You can select or change seats up to 12 hours prior to flight departure. This service is available for all passengers except those who require special airport service or assistance such as wheelchairs, medical attention, children traveling alone, or those traveling with sports equipment, pets or overweight/oversize baggage are not able to use this automated service.

The steps to use self Check-in kiosks are simply as bellow.

- Followed by your preferred language

- Identify yourself by selecting one of 5 methods:- Booking reference,- E-ticket number, Frequent flyer number Passport

We would like to be announced that due to the ongoing global outbreak of COVID-19, several countries in Europe and Asia has intensely increased preventive measures including screening by local Ministries of Public Health and Civil Aviation Organizations as well as national lockdown. Therefore, THAI has prepared its plans and temporarily suspended its operations on the following flights.

1. Starting on 25 March 2020: Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo (Narita and Haneda), Osaka, Nagoya, Seoul, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Yangon, Singapore, Jakarta, Denpasar, Kunming, Xiamen, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Karachi, Kathmandu, Lahore, Dhaka, Islamabad, and Colombo. For domestic flights to Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Krabi will be transferred and operated by THAI Smile.

2. Starting on 27 March 2020: Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth

3. Starting on 1 April 2020: THAI will cancel most of its flights to Europe which are London, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, Copenhagen, Oslo, Moscow and Stockholm

THAI previously suspended flights to Sendai, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Busan, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Rome, Milan, Vienna, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Muscat, Dubai, and Auckland.

To facilitate customers, THAI allows passengers holding THAI and THAI Smile code-share flights air tickets, issued before 25 March 2020 with the following date of travel, to convert unused tickets to one-year valid travel voucher without fee and surcharges:

- Asian Routes during 25 March – 31 May 2020

- European, Australian and New Zealand Routes during 1 April – 31 May 2020

Passengers may check flight schedules and make changes to itineraries themselves on our website.
